FIRST RESPONDERS

WHAT DO WE DO?

We offer triage and care by members of our medical team who are trained  at levels from basic first aid /CPR/AED to years of experience in trauma nursing. We respond to medical emergencies to stabilize and care for patients until our partners from the Emergency Medical System can arrive.

 

WHY DO WE DO IT?

It became apparent that even though there are several fire stations located within 2 miles of our church, the first few minutes of a medical emergency are the golden minutes.  Because of this, we enlisted our medically trained volunteers who attend our church to form a team who offer medical assistance during the time the event occurs until on duty emergency medical personnel can arrive and provide a higher level of care and transportation.
